We spoke with experienced hair stylists about what to look for in products for frizzy hair. When shopping for a product for frizzy hair, in general, leaning towards natural ingredients will leave your hair and skin happier and healthier. There are also some key ingredients to avoid: sulfates can exacerbate rosacea, paraphenylenediamine and triclosan can cause skin irritation, and formaldehyde may contribute to ear infections and other illnesses. These can include moisturizing shampoos, conditioning treatments, oils, serums, and more. But quality products can make a world of a difference in getting your frizz under control.
Dehydrated hair and less-than-ideal haircare products can also contribute to frizz.
When the weather heats up, it can feel like your luscious locks are becoming an untamable frizz ball.
